The "ALERT" Song of Life

This piece of writing is dedicated to all girls who will get married in coming 2-3 years ‘but don’t want to’. Before you would quote something in your mind. Let me be clear that I’m in the same shoes and that is what motivated me to pen down this. Well coming to the point, I personally feel belonging to the Indian Society where marriage means more than just a knot between a girl and a boy. As per my experience with my friends and family of same age or a bit a year younger or elder than me, the person who has to give up their career and ambition is a girl in most of the cases. I believe our society is not able to take in if a girl is more ambitious than a man. We are made to believe since childhood and that is the reason I have never seen in my 25 years that a married woman is earning more than her husband and so called society is accepting her. Well I would discuss this in my next blog.

It became important to write the “song of life” for me as an alert for those ambitious girls who want to achieve numerous things in life and have dreamt to fulfill their weirdest desire.  Girl, you are very lucky that you still have2-3 years as a bachelorette  and you can do as many things without excuse. But that’s only gonna happen if you’re serious about it.

Here are the few things I have applied in my life and somewhere deep within I don’t regret it.
First of all you have to be patient. Nothing comes at once. Patience about the things you want to do and you are looking forward to.
Stop spending all your money on shopping. This is one of the thing that girls can’t resist easily. I have experienced that shopping takes all your money. Every month when you salary is credited the first thing that comes in your mind is shopping. NO! don’t do that, instead save some money and spend it on the things that you have been thinking of doing for so long. Be it traveling, or pursuing your hobby or something else you wanna go for. Do that because the right time is now.

GOA trip is one of the talk that we all do and never execute it. If you are fond of traveling and have always wanted to drop in GOA with your friends. It’s the time to execute that without thinking.

Get uncomfortable a bit. We all know that life starts at the end of our comfortable zone. If it takes your weekend to do things you love, let it take. That is how you differentiate yourself from others.

You are not machine and your life is not only about office-sleep-repeat and you’re more than this.

Work smart and earn lots of money. The only person you should depend upon is yourself. Be financially independent. The joy of lavishness with your own earned money is exotic.

Stay fit! Fitness is very important for everyone. But at this age this should be one of your important and priortized goal. Be consistent with what you eat and workout well. Learn to control yourself when you see a junk. It is not important to eat ‘golgappe’everytime you see it. Make a schedule of eating healthy foods and cheat on weekends.

Carpe Diem my friend! Enjoy every bit of what you doing. Don’t think much about future. Thinking much about your future will mess your life and make your present complex.

Don’t be clingy to your boyfriend.
Boyfriends are very important part of your life. Don’t leave them and they deserve your time but that is not the only thing you are born for. It is very important to add different flavors to your life. Some are for friends, some are for boyfriend and many for your own self.

Be happy about who you are- find happiness within you and in your own company. No one is responsible for your happiness but you.
Stop thinking about-Log kya kahenge
Do things that makes you happy, people talk and forget. Don’t worry about them. After 5 years you will realize’I would have done that’.

So you! Live every moment of your life and fulfill all your small scattered desires before you miss the train. This alert “Song of Life”is just a reminder to explore who you are and what you have left since long. Give your life a kick and be the way you are because that’s what makes you "YOU"

For the Nature-holic

To begin with I would say everyone loves their city and so do I.  And why wouldn’t I? I am born there, spent more than 20 years. You automatically start loving the place where you have created whopping memories no matter what. So without any further delay I would like you to introduce this city ‘Ranchi’. Now if you want to experience the hustle of city, you’re welcome and  if you want to embrace scenic beauty ,waterfalls and greenery you’re welcome again. In short I would say Ranchi would serve you with perfect blend of what you need to refresh your body and soul.Trust me it has lot to serve you. Now one question that is inevitable for everyone to ask – Then why we don’t have it in the mainstream map of Indian waterfalls and natural beauty? And why it has not attracted much tourism? Even I am looking for the answer. Unfortunately it has not been paid much attention to attract tourism. But for a nature lover I would recommend you to add it in your bucket list right now.

The charm of WATERFALLS

Ranchi is blessed with five major waterfalls that will make you go speechless. If I’m talking too much about these natural beauties then let’s dig into the unexplored:

Dassam Fall: The wonderful natural cascade falls from the height of 144ft making a splash down.

The view is marvellous. It is located about 40km away from Ranchi in Taimara village. The name ‘Dassam’ indicates total 10 small and big streams including the main waterfall. The main attraction is the gorgeous landscape surrounding the waterfall.

Hundru Waterfall: Hundru is another splendid sight you would be capturing. It is around 28km away from Ranchi.

Here you can take bath as it is less risky than Dassam and top idea for picnic spot. Wow! The idea of picnic at waterfall is something any nature lover would think.

Jonha Waterfall: This waterfall is also known as Gautam Dhara. It has historical significance and is believed that  Lord Buddha bathed here.

This marvellous waterfall is located on the same way towards Hundru and a diversion separates these two falls.

Panch Ghagh:  The name itself suggests  that it’s a collection of impeccable five waterfalls. It is located approx. 55kms away from Ranchi.

It is also a suggested spot for picnic and gathers huge crowd especially from 25th Dec to 1st week of January. You can come for a refreshing day out with your friends.

Hirni Fall: The immortal Ramgarh river flows through deep dense forest and takes the form of Hirni waterfall. In the dense forest, according to the localites there are caves which are home to tigers and bears. Hirni fall is 75kms from Ranchi and 22kms further from Panch Ghagh.

These are the five major and renowned waterfalls in Ranchi which you need to see right now. There are others like Sita and Lodh waterfalls which are not to be missed if you are here.

Now you already know that watching once is worth than hearing it for thousand times;)

If you are planning for Sunburn Goa…

If you are planning for Sunburn Goa…

Sunburn Goa is the biggest music festival in Asia. It grew bigger and better since it started in 2007. Nikhil Chinapa(pioneer of EDM in India) conceptualised the format of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) in India. Celebrated along the shore of Vagator beach, it is now a four days event in last days of December.
Sunburn Goa is all about Live Love Dance as it says!

Here I would be talking about things to keep in mind if you are the one planning for Sunburn Goa.
You should only spent money on Sunburn if your nerves are into EDM.
There is no place in Sunburn for the people who drop here with the idea of strolling around beaches. You would regret being there if you’re not a hardcore trance music lover. This festival shows you the different genre of music including trance, dubstep, house, tech house, trap music, psychedelic trance and more of this.

Worried about ticket pricing? Here is the solution.
Being the largest music festival of India , ticket pricing  for this fest is bit high comparatively other music festivals. But the good news is that now you can pay in EMIs. You book ticket of Sunburn from www.bookmyshow.com and they give you the option of paying in installments. It is important to make your mind asap for the fest so that you can book the ticket being an early bird.  As per my experience I would suggest you to book tickets asap and should not wait for the last moment rush. The more you wait, the more you pay. I never want you to make that *facepalm* expression. I was charged 8,950 INR as the total amount when I booked the ticket in early week of November 2015.People outside India can book tickets from www.viagogo.com. This is also the official international ticketing partner of Sunburn Goa.

Where to get the hardcopy of ticket?
Once you are done with the booking of tickets, your booking ID would be generated which you have to show on the ticket counter of the event ground at Vagator beach and they would give you the wristband as per your ticket category.
This wristband would be serving as the ticket for the entry into Sunburn ground. Recommendation is not to misplace or tamper the band as there is no replacement for the same.
Finally you are at the fest. Get that impulse! Nail it
Forget the world now. Those world-class music is made to take you high. Mesmerising ambience- flashy lights-with classy music all over the arena. There are many stage apart from the Sunburn main stage and there are DJs to get you go wild with the music they play. So now is the time to loose your grip.

 Hotness all around(Wink;)
Of course, when you are at EDM festival, you expect hot chicks around you. Guys need not to worry about that. You will find large flock of female music lovers who has made their way just to get that pang of EDM.

 Eww-that dusty sweat!
You will have to face different layers of dust all over you mixed with sweat. No matter how much time it took you to choose your coolest Sunburn attire from your closet, sadly it would all multiply with smelly sweat and dust .A place gathering approximately 4lac people from 42 countries drenched in music will obviously witness those bad odour dust and sweat wrapped all over you.

Bad news for non-smokers
It’s an EDM event, you will find people boozing and fagging almost everywhere. In fact in the main arena you may find a guy fagging weed till the last DJ plays. The whole area would smell weed dipped in dust and smog. So you have to be passive smoker in this scenario. My experience says go with the flow .After all you are here to experience the best EDM in the world live in front of you. So better ignore and live it up.

 Foodies- here we come!
Beer, snacks, pizzas ,here you will find everything you love but unfortunately they will rip you off with the price. I would suggest you to make yourself full for at least four hours before you come. Even buying the water bottles can be the ouch moment.

Caution : You never know who is the pocket picker.
It is highly recommended that you don’t carry any expensive stuffs with you. Mobile phones need to be specially taken care off. Of course, you don’t want to sob at the end of a sexy show. It looks funny when the phone hunting sessions starts at the end of the show. You don’t want to be the one right??

Those splendid Sunburn After Dark Parties…
The good news is that parties never ends at Sunburn .If you’re a party animal, you need not to worry. Sunburn has everything you wish for. You can directly go to Sunburn after dark parties that too for FREE!! Yes, you heard it right. These are the perks of being a part of the largest music festival. You just have to show your Sunburn wrist band and they welcome you with open arms.

Get some Desi feel at Sunburn too
Not expecting here?? Then you’re wrong!Folks! If you’re a street food lover, then it’s  definitely for you guys. You’ll not believe but there are several vendors and ram shackles outside the Sunburn arena which gonna serve you with the typical street food. So what’s wrong in taking a bite of pav-bhaji at Sunburn ;)

P.S.- I went to Sunburn Goa 2015 on a road trip from Delhi to Goa . These are the information as per my experiences. Queries are welcome:)

*Get some time from your drudgery life and Live Love Dance*
